For Kim, what started as simply throwing a party for a friend, a baby shower for her eldest daughter, or her delightful younger daughter, Kaymora LaBeach, quickly became a thriving source of income. The Charleston, South Carolina native soon found herself designing events of all types and sizes. Good news travels fast and her unique style drew in new clients on a regular basis.
A super-supportive military spouse, Marchbanks-Labeach quickly acclimated herself to the community of Fort Hood and neighboring Killeen, Texas. Military communities are often close as families are forced to endure deployments, extended field exercises, and service members heading off to school to advance within their careers.
Marchbanks-LaBeach has even bigger plans for the future as she intends to grow her design business but also acquiring a venue to host her events in. Kim would like to offer an all-in-one experience to clients and keep them coming back for any event they may need designed.
Kim’s influence is also evident in the business savvy of her young daughter who is hands-on with the creative process and the actual design of centerpieces and decoration. When asked if she bragged to her friends about the work she does with her mother, Kaymora shyly responds no and explains that she’s too busy enjoying working with her mom and creating beautiful things. The well-mannered youngster is on her way to putting her Black Girl Magic on full display!
Kim Marchbanks-LaBeach is a game-changer in the event coordinator business, with designs on being your go-to Event Designer!
